Fantastic country park with various activities available... Leading on to the beach. Our kids really enjoyed themselves and made full use of the day! Lovely walks also. Great place for all.
We went in January so can't comment on how busy it would be in the summer but the place is great for exporting the woods and sand dunes. The new shower block is fantastic, and they have been reseeding over the winter so you can see the effort they have put into keeping the place up to scratch. We are planning a return in warmer weather when we can bring a tent!
A very well run site with very high standard facilities and really helpful and pleasant wardens..With the added bonus of The Country Park with its miles of walks with your dog's including the 5-7 miles of sandy beach.in a word Fabulous. This Caravan Club site was upgraded 2017/18 during close down by the introduction of some Super pitches for those who like a little extra......NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE CARAVAN SITE IN THE COUNTRY PARK ITS SELF ! ! beware of imitations !
Great, there were only three campers on site. Lovely and quite and good to have the facilities almost to oneself. May be if they reduced the off peak prices, which do seem high, they might get more custom and actually make more money. For the two days we were there the site must have made a huge loss!
Superb park for all kinds of outdoor activities. We had a family day out on the bikes. Plenty of road and trails here to keep the whole family happy. Large play area is hidden away in the centre of the park. Its nice and flat with cafe facilities, childrens park, dry ski slope, toboggan, horse riding, bike hire, camping, archery, closed road cycle circuit and probably lots more Ive not mentioned. There is a 2 charge per car in the winter and I believe 5 over the summer months, well worth it though.
