Went to Machynys for breakfast twice within 2 weeks. Had the same thing both times - poached eggs on toast. The first time I had 3 eggs and 3 pieces of toast, the second time I had 2 eggs and 2 slices of toast despite paying the exact same amount of money! The second time I went the lady behind the till wasn't very courteous - we were ordering breakfast at 10:50 (breakfast finishes at 11) and wouldn't let my friend order an omelette because it was too time consuming! Another friend ordered apple juice but was given orange juice.Apart from this the food was nice but ultimately you pay for the views.
One of the most mouthwatering meals I have had for a long time, worth every penny. Staff very well mannered and lovely setting.
Been for a birthday meal and the food was absolutely tasteless. Ordered a steak well done and it came out rare, had to send it back but still left more or less all of it. My partner ordered a burger, that was tasteless and dry. What a waste of money. Wouldn't recommend at all.
Over priced and poor quality is the best way to describe probably the worst meal i have had in years.. The food was cold !!!! The only reason anyone should visit would be for the view of the estuary. Id never recommend Machynys to anyone...
Had a lovely lunch there today. 12.95 for a beef dinner, which was well worth the money. Hadn't booked a table, but tables available in the bar area.
